Mara + Sergio’s story is one of my favorites. They met in Boston when Mara needed a roommate and Sergio needed a place to live. They were content living as roommates until one day when they started falling for one another. After a gentle push during a visit to her mom, Mara finally admitted her feelings to Sergio on their drive home and to her surprise he reciprocated! They tied the knot in a terrifically modern Jewish ceremony at The Green Building and then celebrated into the evening surrounded by friends, family and incredible desserts. One highlight of the reception, Mara’s father, a restaurateur from Jersey City, was able to cater the entire reception and even included dishes from Sergio’s native Peru.
PS Mara’s wedding band didn’t arrive on time for the wedding! Check out the Claire’s ring she picked up as a temporary replacement.
