A 14 year relationship that, even through good and bad times, has been like a fairytale. That was the central story woven through Desiree + Phil’s beautiful ceremony officiated by a close family friend. It all started with a high school computer science class, where Desiree was the only girl and quickly caught Phil’s eye. Since then, they’ve done long distance, Phil was the “boy in the basement” for a while at Desiree’s parent’s home, they bought a house together, they’ve added 2 awesome dogs to the mix and finally, to close out chapter one, they tied the knot.
I’ve mentioned before that my couples who encounter adversity when wedding planning are always the ones who can handle it best and Desiree + Phil proved this to be true. They tackled a variety of issues, including having to move their entire hotel room block TWICE less than a week before the wedding but managed to stay calm, level headed and stress free on the day of the wedding. Only the very best partners could pull that off.
It was a beautifully sweet ceremony at Rutherfurd Hall followed by an all-night party at David’s Country Inn and I am so happy to have met these friends for life.
