A beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Jessica and Michael got married on memorial day weekend 2014. Their day was filled with blue skies, loved ones and pizza, just the way they wanted it. After an exciting first look on the Asbury Park boardwalk, the pair headed over to Porta Pizza for their ceremony, performed by a judge Michael previously worked with, and a reception featuring a funk band and Nutella pizza with fluff.
A few details I loved:
- Jessica gave Michael collar stays with Porta’s longitude and latitude on them
- A few of their photos were taken in the Silverball Museum’s photobooth, where Michael proposed to Jessica
- A laid-back wedding party, Jessica and Michael choose to create a “dress code” rather than a set outfit
- They recognized their greek life brothers and sisters by giving out color coded flowers
- In lieu of favors, the couple made a donation to the ALS Association in honor of Michael’s father, who they recognized in thank you cards that were handed to every guest
