Though Rosalie + Jason spent their first several years together as undergrads at Duke, they’ve spent the majority of their 9 years of dating apart, while Jason moved around the country for work and Rosalie continued her education in medicine. Through it all, they’ve always found time for each other with scheduled nightly phone calls (late shifts and bar hopping excursions be damned!) and a love of fun and silliness that makes it seem like they are sitting next to each other despite being thousands of miles away. In fact, they’re so good at long distance that even though they wed at the beautiful Bridgewater Manor this past Saturday, they’re still going to be apart for one more year, with Rosalie heading down to Baltimore for her residency and Jason returning to work in Cincinnati.
These two are an inspiration for how love and laughter can keep you close despite distance. Their wedding was full of smiles, chicken suits (for Jason) and weight lifting references (for Rosalie) but on top of it all it was a celebration of all Rosalie + Jason have accomplished together.
