Katie + David met online, got engaged at the spot of their first kiss with a ring that belonged to Katie’s grandmother and wed on a chilly fall day at Princeton University. After a ceremony in the campus chapel in front of friends + family, including David’s family who flew in (for the first time!) from his native France, the couple braved the cold for some photos outside before continuing on to a reception in the beautiful Prospect House. Their first dance was to “Je l’aime a mourir” or “I love her to death,” a favorite of Davids and a song that had a funny history for the couple (described in a photo below). It was a wonderful day for these two to begin their lives together and I feel so honored to have documented it for them.
